Food scale for large pots

I make large pots of soup etc. & then freeze in to single portions. Currently, I'm using a good scale but it cannot handle large pots/ heavy weights and I prefer to do serving size per gram. Any recommendations of such a scale?

I've used my wii fit board for big, big portions of stuff. Start with empty, re-weigh when full and estimate portion size by caloric goals. For a big pot of chili I did recently, I knew I'd want 12oz servings, so I just logged the entire pot as one serving, portioned it out into 12oz and counted the servings. I was shooting for 300 calories--it ended up 333, but it was an accurate 333.

My OXO scale weighs up to 11 pounds. My 4 QT soup pot weighs just under 3 #.
If you need more, this one is America's Test Kitchen's top pick for scales that weigh up to 22 #

OXO Good Grips 22-Lb Food Scale with Pull-Out Display
A larger sibling of our longtime favorite kitchen scale, this version accurately weighs ingredients up to 22 pounds. (The everyday OXO scale tops out at 11 pounds.) It shares the smaller version’s super-handy pull-out display, so you don’t have to peer under big bowls and plates. Very easy to use, this product has a simple “unit” button on the front that lets you switch between ounces and grams (no turning it over to find the hidden switch, as with other scales). At just 1¼ inches tall, this scale stores compactly; a steel platform pops off for washing by hand. Though it’s best for large-batch cooks, this scale does weigh in increments as small as 1/8 ounce or 1 gram, hence it can be used as an all-purpose scale, too.0 -
Thanks for the replies. I actually used & liked the oxo pull out scale, but not the 22# model. Unfortunately I started having problems with it after 8 months or so. I may give the larger one a try.0
