Hello to everyone from im Lima - Peru.
I need help, I measure 6 feet and 2.80315 inches, weight 298 lbs with 35% of fat, my goal is to lose 88 lbs.
I have a big problem I am intolerant to insulin and that is why I decided to make a ketogenetic diet (low carbs)
Breakfast: 6 egg whites with 4 turkey bacon strips and a half of avocado.
Mid morning: 1 scoop of whey protein
Lunch: 9 oz of chicken breast and salad
Mid Afternoon: 1 scoop of whey protein
Dinner: 9 oz of chicken breast and salad
*Every 10 days i make a carb load or a refeed

My training is something like this:
Mon / Wed / Fri
Full Body Workouts with compounds (Squats, Deadlift, Pull ups, Bench Press, Rows, Military Press)
Tue / Thu / Sat
30 mins of Interval Training and 30 mins of steady state and ABS

Guys, please help me, thank you very much!!
Best Regards!!

That sounds like way to little food.

Maybe reduce the egg whites and have a couple of whole eggs instead, add more good fats to your meals perhaps a dressing for the salads based on a good olive oil and lemon juice. Add more avocado perhaps.

A scoop of whey protein indicates it's a powder. Are you mixing it with water?

why don't you just enter your stats into MFP and eat to the number that it gives you for one pound per week loss?

I found this website today and it suits me very much. I realise you have an insulin concern and by your diet above, it looks like you are going for high protein only, perhaps this site will help you plan your day or give you a good starting point and you can substitute what you want:

    Good luck.

Agreed; and are you actually weighing everything out? Not just your meat, but veggies/snacks/ect?

Assuming the numbers you gave are correct, you are eating way too little. That amount of LBM would set your BMR around 2400-2600 or so. You would also be considered active, which would set your daily calories around 3700-4100.

Being conservative and taking 3600 calorie per day burn, then subtract 1000. You should be eating at a min 2600 calories.

I am in the same boat as you. I am 6'3 287 with 205 LBM. The nice thing is just keep doing what you are doing and the weight will just fall off. You need to eat more if you want to keep the LBM as you lose weight. You can look at my diary for ideas ( warning I have been sick recently so some days are low).
