I have about 30 pounds to lose as well, based on the BMI charts. I stopped actively trying to lose weight about a year ago when I found out I was pregnant. Now that my child is 3 months old and my milk supply is regulated, I'm interested in starting to lose weight again (I got back down to my pre-pregnancy weight within 6 weeks of her birth). This week, I'm getting back into logging my food again and trying to see what a good calorie goal is for my body, while still eating enough to maintain my milk supply. I also have a check up with my primary doctor next Monday, and I'll double-check with him what a reasonable weight goal should be.0

The allowance for brestfeeding is about 300-500 calories. Most sites say 500 calories, so tyou cna count it as 600 exercise or just 500 allowance.
