Inspiring books on nutrition?

Can anyone recommend a good book about diet and nutrition? Looking for something that will educate and inspire me to not just eat less, but eat the right things. I currently eat quite a bit of fruits and veggies, but know I need to do a better job at watching sodium, carbs, making sure I get enough protein, etc. If I can really understand the benefit of a true balanced diet, I think it’ll help motivate me.

I haven't read this book yet but I can't wait for it to come in the mail. Not sure if it talks much about nutrition but their weightloss theory is awesome! its Fat2Fit and you can get it on amazon (by russ turley... sp?)
I recommend their podcast for anyone who tells me that they need to find that magic diet! "Live like the thinner person you want to become" You should check it out!0 -

Jillians Master you Metabolism was really good. I have a lot of other good books, but it may not be what you are looking for. I don't lump nutrition and diet in the same category.0

I love reading diet books, I've read all of Tosca Reno's books my favorite out of all of them is EAT CLEAN DIET,another ONE IS RECHARGED. I get so motivated after I read her books,she is the one that owns and does Oxygen magazine about health and eating right. The other one that made me change my attitude about meat, I don't eat red meat anymore at all is the book called SKINNY ***** it's a little tuff to take because of what they do to the animals in order to feed humans I'm glad I read it, I only eat fish now.now I'm reading the DUKAN DIET book not really liking it.hope this helps you: smile:0
