Never thought to make my own, but it looks really easy and the tofu seems to have a really nice texture.

Pretty cool. I make my own cheese, yogurt, beer, wine so I already have most of the equipment. Also was watched a video a few days ago on making almond milk and almond flour. I'll have to save that video

Nice! The process for almond and rice milk is pretty similar to the soy, correct? Soaking, blending, and straining?

My mom and great-aunt made some great blackberry wine when I was a kid. Smelled so good!

Yes, soak almonds in water over night, then in blender with water, strain thru cheesecloth.
I found the cheesecloth you buy at cheese making or homebrew sites is better quality than the stuff bought at Walmart.
I usually buy ingredients in bulk, store in freezer and use when needed. Most of the time you save money making your own. Plus you know what's going in your recipes.
