cheap HRM

I had been looking to buy a HRM for a while, figuring it would help me stay motivated and everything, but I lost my job so I have very little money to go towards this.
I found a cheap one on amazon for about 5 bucks (10 with shipping)
It's a "Active Wear Sports Watch" and I was wondering if anyone else has used the same kind and if they had any issues with it. Should I look out for a better one in the future (when I have a job) or will a cheap model work just as fine?
Thanks in advance!

Best thing to do would be to read about the user reviews on Amazon itself.
Edit - I think with that HRM, you need to stop and touch the sensor with your finger to measure your heart rate.0 -
I would suggest holding off, you really need a chest strap to get good readings...I paid $90 for mine, a Polar FT40

I looked at the watch your refering to. I wouldnt recommend it at all. It doesnt even come with a chest strap. I personally have a Timex Sportline http://www.amazon.com/Timex-T5G971-Unisex-Personal-Monitor/dp/B000P8VWQS/ref=pd_cp_e_1 it is like $40 and free shipping. I really like it. Although I do plan on upgrading to a Polar.0

Ok, thanks everyone.
I guess once I get a job again it will just be something I have to work for. Thanks for the input!0 -
I have a Polar F6 w/ the chest strap~ definately recommended w/ strap!! I bought mine on Ebay for about $70. You will be much more motivated and pleased with seeing how many calories u are actualy burning. If u go to the gym and go by the machine calories burned, for me they were always under from what my HRM said.
I wouldnt waste the $$ on a cheap one, they say u get what u pay for. Save it and put it towards a POLAR!
Good Luck
