I have been clean eating for the last three weeks and for the past three days my cravings have been out of control! How do you control your cravings of do give into them once in a while? Need help! I don't want to unravel my progress...

I have a HUGE sweet tooth. I just eat what I want in small portions (one serving size usually). I also get those Skinny Cow ice creams or fruit bars. Sometimes I'll get those flavored sparkling waters. There are also chocolate rice cakes which are only 60 cals.
Eating a small amount of what you would like isn't going to unravel your progress, just make sure you log it and keep up the rest of your good work.0 -
Should be OK if you stay within your daily calorie goal. What is it you are craving? Maybe it can be used as an ingredient in something interesting.0

Maybe the fact that you have not allowed any treats for the past three weeks is causing the cravings. This is the case with me and it's why I work treats into my weekly allowance.0

Eating clean can involve smoothies which have helped with cravings. If you need a sweet treat look for smoothies that allow honey, or cocoa, it does help. It you crave salty, they have smoothies for hydration that include sodium intake. If you need to chew on something, look for snap peas or something with a crunch. I have also chewed on cinnamon sticks, sounds crazy but I like the taste of cinnamon - just not too much of it.0

No need to eat clean to lose weight. Just weigh out smaller portions of your favorite foods. Bonus: you save money because you eat less. I think I have 5 bags of those buffalo Doritos because I eat them so slowly.0

I am a Paleo / clean eater with minimal sugar intake...a protein smoothie with 8oz unsweetened almond milk, 1 green tipped banana, 1 Tablespoon almond butter & 1 Tablespoon raw cacao powder. Or I'll have a square of 90% dark chocolate, which tastes sweet to me since doing the Sugar Detox. Hope this helps!0

Such great ideas, I do like eating crunchy stuff, so the carrots and peas are awesome ideas. The smoothie sounds delicious!!!! I am definitely trying that.... Thanks so much for the ideas. I felt stuck! I am really trying to lead my family to healthy eating.0
