This is something I tend to struggle with a lot. I start off good and some how manage to derail..

Even when you "derail" you want to log every single bite.
The next day, re-start on your food plan. You can do this.

Consistency only matters over the long term, not on a daily basis. If you 'derail' you start again the next day. I've derailed my diet over and over again over the past 6 months, but I always started again, I didn't let one night or even a WEEK of falling off the wagon stop me from continuing and I've managed to lose 74 pounds since January.

In what ways do you derail yourself from your goals?

I don't know how to be such a person but I know that devices like smart watches can really help. honestly in my opinion sports get boring with time and we need something that helps us staying motivated. I bought a device that helps me swimming regularly - it's so boring but so good for my appearance

I am not suprised when I derail my plan on occasion. I remind mself that this is why I am where I am and use it as a good reminder. If I didnt have the reminders perhaps I would forget what got me here in the first place. Dont beat yourself up. Its a simple reminder to stay on track. One or two rough days do not constitute a trend. Pressure and time turns coal into diamonds. You've got this !
