I'm courtney. 27. I've struggled my whole life with my weight while still being extremely active. I tore my Achilles 5 years ago and that is when the trouble started. My diet stayed the same of a college athlete but I had become a couch potato! Tried a few crash diets that worked while I was focused. Finally realized that I need a lifestyle change not a diet! That's what brought me here. A place to find friends and keep me accountable. I've learned I can't do this alone!

Any tips or advice for me? :)

    First advice, write down somewhere what exactly it is that you want (besides dropping pounds). Do you feel like crap and want your body respond to food better? Do you want to fit in an old dress? Go on a cruise? Make sticky notes of things that you want from this lifestyle change and hang them around your house so that you're constantly reminding yourself that this is more than a diet.
