What music do you listen to while working out?

I want to download some great music to listen to while I exercise.

I've been listening to the podcast "Welcome to Nightvale." I only let myself listen to it when I run so that also gives me motivation to suck it up and put on my running shoes. Most of them are 25-30 minutes so perfect 5k background for beginners. I also find I concentrate more on the podcast than I do music and it distracts me better.

I listen to whatever is playing at the gym, never really got into bringing my own mp3 player along, although maybe I should. Once my home gym setup is complete I will probably create some playlists.

I had been listening to podcasts but just downloaded RockMyRun and discovered that I run faster when listening to music. They have some really fun mixed.

For running, DJ Assault. All 150 bpm all the time gets my stride so right. And the inane hooks lull my brain into transcendent, laser-focused, imbecility, so that any bodily suffering just doesn't register.

I'm personally fond of "weave pulled out" and "let me c u pop" Ghetto tech FTW.

I listen to audiobooks. Exercise is the only time I'm not too distracted to listen to them. But if I do listen to music, it is my usual playlist. I have one gigantic Spotify playlist. I never got the notion of listening to different music depending on the activity, or time of day, or whatever.
