Gaining Weight Question

I'm trying to lose weight but i'm curious about my calorie intake this weekend.
Friday Night i ate pretty bad, a sausage on a bun, couple of handfulls of chips, one beer and 4 slices of pizza all within the span of the day. I STILL didn't go over my calories, i still had about 100 remaining.
Now today and most likely tomorrow will somewhat be the same thing, maybe not as bad. Although i am curious, i know 3500 calories is how much someone needs to consume to gain a pound. Now is that 3500 calories a day or within the span of a few days. Because regardless, i'm going to try and stay under my calories these next few days even though i know what i'll be eating is pretty bad.
So i guess my question is, If i'm under my calories Friday, Saturday and Sunday will i still be losing weight?
Thanks.

If you're under your calories you will lose fat. With that much sodium, you may retain water and see an increase on the scale but that kind of depends on how much sodium you eat every day. In other words, if you normally eat a lot of sodium you might not see an increase but if you don't, you probably will.
The 3500 figure is cumulative as we neither gain nor lose fat in tidy 1 pound chunks.0 -
3500 over maintenance, period. Might be in one day, might be in one year.0

To lose weight energy used needs to be greater than energy consumed. If you consume 500 calories less than you use per day then in one week you will be under by 3500 calories which equals approx 1Ib.0

Thank You ! My Calorie Limit according to My Fitness Pal is 2010 per day. I'm normally around 1500-1600 a day. This weekend i'm expecting to be close to the 2010, but will make sure i don't go over. I'm at 200lbs and my goal is about 175-180. I've already lost 15lbs but it's hard to avoid weekends like this, i feel guilty after eating bad regardless if i go over or not.0

Oy, don't feel guilty about eating. Ever. Feel guilty when you run over your neighbor's dog or forget Grandma's birthday. Pizza is not something to feel guilty about.0

Yes, if you're under, you will lose.0

Is there a reason you need to eat all that junk food on weekends?0

Well i don't do it every weekend, but this weekend were having people over and going to the jays game etc. You know how that gets lol, i'm trying to limit it as much as possible. But my goal is just to stay under my calorie deficit.0

Is there a reason not to, if it fits into your calorie limit?0 -
So i have 1660 to eat left for the day, you're telling me i can eat pizza, a beer, and whatever and still lose weight as long as i am under 1660? Too Good to be true in a way? lol0

Yes. Weight loss is dependent on eating fewer calories than you burn.
Nutrition-wise, I wouldn't build my diet on a core of pizza and beer but, in moderation, all things are fine.0 -
During the week I'm eating healthy, staying under my calories and exercising. It's just the weekends that can get a bit more heavy as far as food goes. But as soon as Monday or even Sunday hits, I'm right back to eating more nutritional foods, more water and exercising.0
