    Ohhh...me! I am a villager! I just hit my 1 year on MFP this week. I won't have all the answers, but I can cheer you on & do my best!

    Thank you first villager. I so need the feeling to belong. I've always tried to loose weight alone but it feels good to read and share my struggles. I'm all in. :'(

    I have had to lose weight four times after each pregnancy. I always find it a help to remember the thing you crave will not actually taste as good as it does in your imagination. Also it helps to have one naughty day to look forward to. My daughter in law has lost four and a half stone using this app. I have seen her get steadily slimmer over time and cannot believe how different she looks and how more agile and active she is too. She was beautiful anyway but looks even prettier now.

    I too are on a similar journey. I have lot 25 lbs since April and now would like to lose another 100... Seems like a huge number but one lb at a time one day at a time is how we will do it. I am working with a class to prevent Diabetes. My instructor wrote a book Five Habits of Weight loss Success- it is not a fancy book just an explanation on how was able to lose over 100 lbs and keep it off. We focus on 150 minutes of exercise a week and keeping your fat intake down. My budget is 55 grams which is lower than this program allows.
