I'm currently trying to bulk and increase size and strength. I'm gonna be starting a DUP program next week after I've found my 1RMs on the big three. Has anyone had any experience of DUP? Any tips, do's or dont's around the training and what my diet should look like. Thanks in advance.

    Is this the DUP program?:
    A BRIEF HISTORY OF DUP

DUP pretty much flies in the face of everything published in bodybuilding magazines over the last 20 to 30 years, which advise you to –

    - Hit every muscle group once a week

    - Go to failure on every set

    - Perform a variety of exercises to hit your muscles from every angle

    - Make sure you rest at least 5 days between working body parts to allow for adequate recovery

    - Program almost every exercise in the hypertrophy range of 8-12 reps per set.

Yeah that's the one. Have you tried it?

No, I haven't. Only real weight program I've done (and I'm still doing) is Stronglifts 5x5.

Just make sure you eat in a caloric surplus, eat 0.8g of protein per lb of body mass, around 0.4 to 0.45g of fat and fill carbs with the rest.

I started with stronglifts 5x5 last summer and made good strength gains but wasn't eating enough so didn't gain much weight. Since then I've done 10x10 and 10x3 program's and gone from 62kg to 71kg by eating a lot more food.
