Please please please lift weights from the get go!!
I've been as low as 107 in my life, but I look and feel better now at 122 thanks to heavy weight lifting. I don't care what the scale says as I look and feel smaller and tighter (not to mention stronger) than I did 15 lbs lighter.0 -
I'm 5'2" and started at 158 ... now 132 and goal of 125 lbs, maybe lower to 118-120.
I eat 1200 calories, primarily lean proteins, low fat dairy, lots of berries and veggies. I exercise six days a week with a combination of walking/jogging, yoga, light weights. It's been a slow journey for me, but well worth it.0 -
I'm 5'7 and 153, started at 159 and trying to get to 120. I'm controlling portion sizes and avoiding snacking on unhealthy foods. Weirdly I went to the gym for years but quit just a couple of months before I started losing weight. But I've just started couch to 5 K and luckily my boyfriend has weights so I'm doing some weight training too.0

I'm 5'2" and currently 163. I would like to get into the 120s but I've never weighed that little as an adult so I have no idea if I can do it or not! I've lost 49 pounds so far.0

I'm 5'3" and was 165 at my heaviest. Currently 142. I'm optimistic about getting closer to my ideal body everyday, but know I still have a ways to go. I used to think 120 would be ideal, but now that I'm weightlifting, I'll let the mirror and my clothes determine my goals.0

Yeah, I found with all the LBM I saved from lifting, 120 isn't really necessary.0 -
