that sounds delish ! what time will dinner be ready....lol
  • I usually cut them in thin strips and drizzle a little bit of extra virgin olive oil over them and lightly sprinkle with salt and pepper. I cook them about 25 min @ 425*. Sometimes I flip them half way through sometimes I don't. I am obsessed with these and eat them all the time! About 175-200 calories per medium potato.

We do them very similar to how flutterqueen does them. I think we got the recipe from a Hungry Girl book. :)

I tried that recipe too, but mine came out limp and squishy, not crispy like I wanted. Any tips?

I cut them, drizzle them with olive oil and put some pepper, garlic powder and chili powder on them.
I serve them with 1/2 fat mayo mixed with curry powder.
    YUM
  • I cut em into fries. Little bit of olive oil and a little bit of taco seasoning in a bag...shake em n bake em. When they are almost done I add a bit of fat free shredded cheese and chopped green onion. Then if I'm feeling like it...dip em in fat free ranch dressing...HEAVENLY!!!

Some days they are fine and some days they are limp and squishy....but I don't mind them like that. I think its all in the size of the strips, potato, etc. Wish I could be more helpful but I really don't know :ohwell:

Cook them in a very hot oven and if they aren't getting crispy, put them under the broiler for a very short time. Watch them, though. They'll burn quickly.

ok, i ended up cubing them into really small pieces, sprayed them with "i can't believe it's not butter" spray (0 calories), then sprinkeld them with domino's sugar 'n cinnamon. baked them at 450 for about 30 minutes. deeee-lish! but "squishy".
