I need a good scale!

The only reason I know I've lost weight is because I've been going to my dad's doctors appointments with him and I weigh myself on the doctor's scale. However, obviously I'm not going to keep going to the doctor's just to weigh myself so I need a good, reliable scale. The one I have at home is so wrong. One day I'll have lost a pound, and the next it says I gained 3.

So, what scales do you guys use? and what are the prices?

Thanks!

Good question! I would like to know the answers to that one too. Mine are always off.

I'm a little bit afraid to venture away from my scale...idk if it's reliable or not but I've had it since I was 15...so I'm a little attached.

I have no idea. Back in February I had 2 scales, they both pissed me off because they were so inconsistent so I threw them out into the back yard during a snow storm. I use the scale at the gym, it's been nice to me lately. I'm reluctant to buy a scale because I fear I may become obsessed. I don't need another thing to obsess about.

I just bought a new scale myself. It's by Taylor and is a bodyfat scale. It cost only $30 and does quite a bit. It monitors Body fat, water weight, and even reads out in decimals for a more precise weight measurment. Their website is www.taylorusa.com if you want to check it out. The model is 5754.

I use my wii fit. It seems pretty consistent. I have Tanita digital scales, these:
    http://www.amazon.com/Tanita-TBF-621-Body-Monitor-Scale/dp/B00005EB79
And the difference between them and the wii is usually only a tenth of a lb or so. The wii just happens to be in the room where I work out, so they are more convenient for weighing after I finish a work out.

Great question! Try Bed, Bath and Beyond..there are several in your city. They have bath scales from $19.99 to over $600..I bought a great scale made by TANITA ($39). It records your body fat, bones mass, body water, muscles mass, calories andeven stores up to fives people's weight information..no guessing at what you weighed last time.

    Happy Shopping...(bedbathandbeyond.com)

I only bought a scale to just have it so I could keep track of my weight, and I bought it for $19, before shipping, from Amazon.

It measures water weight and body fat? That's really cool but how does it do it?

Honestly, I just bought an analog scale and try to only weigh once a week. I like my old-school tech.

Your weight fluctuates throughout the day, so the scale is going to fluctuate if you don't weigh yourself at the same time every day. I've been told mornings are the best, since you haven't had anything to eat or drink at that point.
