How to handle people commenting on your body size?

I am working on getting in shape. Even so, I still get side comments from people like, "Your belly is so big. Are you pregnant?" I think I'm making progress, but then I realize... not enough. How do you pick yourself up when you've been knocked down? I want to turn it into motivation to keep working, but sometimes it can be really hard to get past. Any tips?

Hey there! First off great work for starting the journey! It's a difficult process. I'm sure you hear this all the time but people's opinions don't matter. This fitness journey is yours and yours alone. Progress is progress and when you start to see results you want more as fast as possible. It's human nature I do it all the time! My best piece of advice is set a few short term goals and a few long term. You don't have to focus every single day on what you want the total outcome to be. For example working out 3 to 5 days a week for one month or eating no sugar or fast food for one month. Most importantly have fun and enjoy every single step of the journey you will not regret it a bit and make sure to celebrate each success and don't dwell on the small stuff. Keep kicking butt and keep your head high.0
