that one week I see lbs lost and others I just lose inches but no weight?

my guess is because you're building muscle. Muscle weighs more than fat, but it's not going to be bulgy or flabby, so you will see inches go, but not pounds.
I would be pretty pumped to see some inches go... I have a few too many of them haha0 -
If you are losing inches but not weight, you are likely gaining muscle/toning. This is a great thing. Because someone can weigh very little but have lots of fat.0

Because your body is changing. Weight that was fat is being replaced by muscle. Obviously muscle is tighter so you lose inches as you tone up even though the number on the scale may stay the same.0

thank you! it is such a numbers game nowadays. I am 5'7" and keep hearing healthy weight is 145 and I'm 170 then I hear. but you don't look it. confused.0
