This week I started a bariatric diet with a lot of pills to suppress appetite and eliminate fat from the body and such. And they are very effective and all but this has caused me a really severe gastritis. I can barely eat because of this and im feeling really nauseous and is getting worse.

Would any of you have a natural remedy against this? I dont want to take more pills than the ones Im taking already.

If the pills are prescribed by your doctor, go see your doctor. If they’re not, stop taking them - most OTC supplements are ineffective at best and cause problems at worst (i.e. like is happening to you).

If you want to lose weight, all you need to do is maintain a caloric deficit by careful logging and tracking of your food intake.

A doctor prescribed this? You're not concerned about taking "lots of pills", being nauseous & getting worse? If your Dr. prescribed these pills, you should let him know the side effects.

Seconded. Your body's trying to tell you something--listen to it.

    ^^ This

And note - it's a completely 'natural' remedy.

Did you have gastric bypass surgery? Did your doctor put you on this diet? If so, go ask them.

Otherwise, why do you need "a lot of pills"? Pills might help you suppress appetite, but usually come with sides. Pills DO NOT help you eliminate fat from the body. They might help you not be able to digest the dietary fat, but that means if passes through - READ: expect sloppy #2's. I'd rather just watch my fat intake some than experience that and work on learning to eat in moderation.

IMO, the only pills that are possibly worth taking are a multivitamin and omega 3. Otherwise, you need to be talking to your doctor about pills.
