WW Refugee!

Oh boy am I happy to be here!!! I have been a WW member for YEARS and have kept the 25 lbs off that I initially lost 10 yrs. ago. Recently, due to job stress & a broken heart, (sob), I re-gained 5 lbs. I have been back on WW "losing" plan for over 3 weeks, and haven't lost one single pound! "They" recently changed their plan and it is just not working for me. I suspect it will still work for people who have a lot to lose & need to learn to eat healthily OR for people who just want to maintain, but not for meeeeeeee!
Thank you so much, My Fitness Pal! I feel in control of my life again!!!

I also was a WW member. I recently dropped them because I couldn't lose anymore weight. But WW did get the first 52 pounds off of me. But right now I really need to know how many calories I am eating, not how many points. I am more concerned about my macro nutrients now also (protein, carbs, fat) So WW definetely wasn't working for me anymore. But I do think WW is a great program for a beginner.0

Awwww, sorry to hear about your broken heart. I added my 7lb for the very same reason and I too cannot go back on WW as I stopped losing weight with them and am annoyed all my WW stuff is useless as they have changed their plan! Talk about a con to get you to buy new products from them!
Anyway good luck with your journey on MFP. Hope you get loads of help & encouragement.
Feel free to add me as friend.

I used to be with WW too. But when they found how how much I weighed: I had no friends any more! I was still 20lb overweight – but I wasn't fat enough!!
This place is really good and your friends are fab. Welcome to the sweet world of MFP0 -
Thanks, Everyone! I am still getting to know my way around "here," so thanks again for the welcome!!!0
