Two-a-day in the gym

I'm going to do a few two-a-days at my gym before they close for Fourth of July. Would folks recommend splitting the day between morning/evening or banging it out back to back?

If you do everything in one mega-session, it's not a 2-a-day, is it??
If you have the extra time to spend, it'd be more efficient to do everything you want to accomplish all in one
session - half the drive time, half the clothes-changing time, half the showering time, half the towels to hang
up when you get home, half the soap / shampoo used...
But you do know you shouldn't exercise the same muscle group 2 days in a row (weightlifting), right?

Correct. I usually do two different sessions per muscle group a week with three days in between. Tomorrow, for example, will be chest/triceps A workout and B workout. There is no overlap on exercises so in theory I could make it a mega session. The workouts usually go 75 minutes/each.
I'm less concerned about time as I will be able to walk the five minutes to the gym and tomorrow I have off from work.0
