Please share any info regarding your meal prep routine
..what kind of meals do you make, do you freeze or refrigerate them, for how many days do you prep and how many meals per day, etc.

    frozen stirfry veggies are the easiest way to get my veggies, I stir them into my eggs and microwave them with two turkey links and pepper jack cheese. I grill pork chops and chicken breasts. buy salad kits and throw the meat in. I usually make enuf for dinner today and lunch the next day. open a can of black beans, slice some avocado and done.

    oh and I make the whole pkg of turkey links and bring them to work, keep in freezer and take out two a day.

    I have Sundays off work so i normally use that day to make/plan my meals for the coming week.

    I make a lot of stir-frys mostly with chicken and some sort of stir through stiryfry sauce.
    I also just really like vegetables so often i'll just eat a few things of corn and some broccoli 9/10 i'll just use the frozen veggies it's a lot easier and more convenient that way.
    I prep food for the coming week on sunday too, like if I've got chicken breast i will dice it and weigh it so i can work out the cals put it in a freezer bag and write the cals on the outside then freeze it until im going to use it.
    By doing the prep work when i have the day off it means i don't have to mess around as much when Im cooking tea after work.

    I like to have as many different meals ready as i can because I do shift work some nights i dont get home until late and i dont want to start cooking a meal from scratch at 8 at night

    I dont prep meals, but i do prep proteins. I typically have a lb of beans cooked up, with a few portions weighed out and frozen in 200g portions, the rest are kept in the fridge.

    I also cook up a few blocks of tofu at a time, or a few servings of TVP at a time, and then just weigh out my portions when I need them.

    I keep lots of veggies and fruit on hand, ready to be added to my meals.

    I'm a Sunday meal prepper. I usually start by cooking my proteins first which is usually chicken and ground turkey. The only thing with cooking all of it at one time is that you need to eat it no later than probably 4 days before it starts getting questionable. At least for me anyway. Sometimes I'll cook my second half of the week proteins on Wednesday nights.

    I found that buying flash frozen veggies (broccoli, green beans, etc), frozen brown rice, and ready-to-bake microwave sweet and regular potatoes helps save time. I pop everything in the microwave to cook while my proteins are cooking and then I weigh and portion my meat, carb, and veggie into Tupperware. That gives me about 4 days of lunch and dinner.

    I then cut up about 2-3 days of veggies like cucumber and green pepper for snacks and measure out my cottage cheese into small Tupperware containers. I'll also portion out my protein powder scoops into baggies if I need to.

    I like to make about a dozen hardboiled eggs for the week as well if I don't have time in my mornings to scramble them and sometimes will cook 3-4 serving of oatmeal so I can just scoop in what I need for a day. I personal train mornings and evenings along with my full time job so I don't have a lot of time during the week to cook or put my meals together.

    All in all it only takes me about 30-45 minutes to do my meal prep for an entire week considering I also keep rice cakes, almonds, peanut butter and hummus at work that I can portion out when I'm there.

    I prepare and cook my meals on sunday and put them in tupperware for the week...so I am eating healthy regardless of the hectic busy schedule.

    I take the meal out of the box and stab with a fork. Place in Microwave. Ping. Good to go.

    Go to Applebee's for dinner, order the steak and shrimp parmesan, eat half and then eat the rest for lunch the next day.

    This is so me!!!

    I am the worst meal prep person. I will only do one or two days in advance. I know if I did it all in one day I would save time but I just dont.

    I usually grill on the weekend. I'll grill four chicken breasts and eat one, then dice and separately package the others and store in the fridge. I'll take one out each night and saute it with a little olive oil and lay over a salad.

    I also put some sweet potatoes on the grill wrapped in foil. They can go straight from the grill into the fridge (after cooling). I pull them out, take out of the foil, one minute in the microwave, sprinkle some salt and cinnamon. Done.

    Am I the only person who enjoys cooking every night?!!! I plan my meals at the weekend, go shopping then, and have everything ready to make my meals. Very few evening meals take more than 30-45 minutes to prepare and cook, I don't stand there for all 45 minutes, it's usually 15 mins prep, stick in oven and off I go to do something else for half an hour.

    The things I do prepare are my lunches - every evening, after dinner (or sometimes, whilst making my dinner), I prepare my salad, fruit or sandwich/whatever, and put it in the fridge ready for the morning. Breakfast is usually oatmeal, microwaved for a couple of minutes and then a pre-weighed handful of blueberries chucked on top - 3 minutes max!

    I just don't find it a chore to cook - I really love it, and also the process of finding new recipes that fit into my eating plan.

    I prep ingredients on the weekend so that it's easier to cook fresh on weeknights.

    I only prep breakfast and lunch to take to work. I dont prep my dinners, I cook them that day.

    I enjoy cooking dinner every night!! It's my therapy after working all day, lol

    I do prep my lunches for the week though, every Sunday ~ this week was grilled chicken breast with chopped greek salad (yes, I usually eat the same thing all week for lunch & breakfast)

    Breakfast is usually a coffee protein shake with hard boiled eggs and fruit for snacks

    I don't prep full meals, but after I do my grocery shopping I cut up all my veggies and put them in Tupperware of Ziplocs. That way they're ready to throw into a salad when I'm in a hurry.
