I lose weight quickly on a net calorie intake of 1750, however I see others losing slowly on like 1350? I'm just generally curious how this works, do I just have a faster metabolism? I'm 182cm and weigh around 71kg.

Metabolism is basically a function of your body mass and activity. It's likely you generally move around a good bit more than someone who is losing more slowly.

Their TDEE could be different to yours. If it's lower and they're eating 1350 calories compared to your 1750, they're in a smaller caloric deficit and will obviously lose less weight in a given time.

Also comes down to accuracy with logging and what not. They could potentially be eating more than they think, and will have a smaller caloric deficit so they will lose less weight.

I've always thought that the human metabolism was relatively the same and that there wouldn't be any huge differences which would affect weight loss etc? I haven't really read into it but I'd like enlightening on that.

Age, gender, height, weight, activity level, lean mass, and potential medical issues (thyroid problems) all play a factor in metabolism.

    I'm 167 cm and 62kg.

    I'm grossing 1000-1300 a day, generally.

I just weigh less and I'm shorter. This means it takes a hella ton to get a 1000-cal deficit, which I'm rocking for the rest of the week.

    Don't forget about activity level

    ^^^ This....

Comparisons with others losing weight needs to take all the the above considerations. The numbers fall where they will and it can happen as well when you look around at what people are eating....some do better with higher carbs or not, upping their protein or not....you get the picture.
