If you're going to make it at home, get a pizza stone. That's the secret to a good crust, no matter what recipe you use.
Try to find a dough recipe online using wheat flour- it's healthier and you won't even notice the difference.

YES! My pizza stone was a great investment. Now they have Fleischmann's pizza yeast. Good dough recipes on their site. You don't have to let the dough rise & then punch it down - only 1 step.

For me - pizza = pepperoni. I use turkey pepperoni (not too much) Yum!

I make snack pizzas on Joseph's Low Carb Pita Bread, the small size, and they're only 60 calories each. I add two tbls pizza sauce, 1/8 cup of parm, sprinkle of garlic powder, 1/4 low fat mozz and 7 slices of pepperoni for a truly good tasting think crust pizza for around 266 calories per pizza.

Even my five year old loves them!
