Maintaining My Fitness and Health (Vegetarian Athlete)

I'm a vegetarian, high school athlete, I'm always looking to maintain my health and is looking to be fit than to be "thin". I'd love to give my personal advice to others and take some advice as well. I follow a high carb. low fat diet and I believe that a person should never restrict their intake and overwork them self to reach their "goal". Any goal takes time and I'd like to hear others diet experiences.
