I am wondering why there are so many different calorie counts/protein etc for a 3 oz grilled chicken breast - anywhere from 50 grams of protein to 23. I am so confused, can anyone please help me !!

Use the ones with USDA in the description.0

Many frozen chicken items include a "solution" of water and sodium. This is included in a "serving size" and while it adds quite a bit of sodium (and flavor) it does not add calories. The thing to watch out for is if you weigh your chicken after it thaws, you are weighing mostly chicken so the calories will be higher.
USDA = good advice.

I go with 6 oz being about 32g protein. Just over 5g per oz cooked.0
