Which macro ratio do you use?

I'm 23 M 175 cm, started around 84 kg, now 73 kg and trying to shed another 10 before starting to build muscles. I'm eating around 1700 kcal with 35-35-30 macro, so 150 g of both proteins and carbs and 57 g of fat. Do you think it's a good ratio to lose weight? Which one are you using?

My naturopath suggested cutting carbs down to 40 grams a day for weight loss and adding in Lots of protein and good fats. I've was suck at a plateau the past 4 months after gaining 5 lbs that would not budge, and this advise finally broke it! I'm down 2 lbs in a week from cutting the carbs.

I am new to MyFitnessPal and the macro nutrient goals are the most confusing bit for me. Is the 50 carbs / 30 fat / 20 protein ok if I am trying to reduce my body fat percentage? I only want to lose about 7 lbs but more muscle less fat.

50 carbs, 30 protein 20 fat does the trick for me but your body may respond differently so it's best play around with your macros and see what works for you.
63kg at your height is pretty light for a guy. You will have very little muscle at that weight.

I'm using a 50c/25f/25p protein split on a cut at the moment and have lost 7lbs over the past month. Carbs are your friend if you're looking to keep strength up for training. And don't be afraid to build muscle. Muscle building will help to burn more fat than cardio alone. I do zero cardio and this has worked for me over the past year.
