Hello, just trying to lose some weight and get my body back to being healthy! I really need some motivation as I am trying an all plant-based diet along with excersize. :)

Welcome to MFP! I suggest taking your measurements every few weeks (bust, biceps, waist, hips, and thighs) to help with motivation when the scale doesn't seem to budge. There have been many times when the scale says I have gained weight, but my inches have decreased dramatically and that has helped to keep me going when otherwise I may have felt like a failure for working out and eating under goal with nothing to "show" for my efforts.

Thanks for the tips--I've just started and I often see little change in the scale--but maybe inches will help!

Are you following a particular diet plan. I'm following one my cardiologist suggested. It's a "plant based whole foods" that has worked for me I'm the past.

Great words debubbie.....I was losing weight than the scale stopped but I was still losing inches around my waist. I did a slight change regarding the number of calories and the scale started changing again. So adjustment through out your process is necessary. Try not to be "controlled" by the scale.
