Getting Re-Focused!!

I started with MFP a few months ago. I was able to loose 7 lbs and a few inches. I then went on vacation (and of course gained 4lbs) and since returning over 2 weeks ago I am having a hard time re focusing. I have been so busy since returning with birthday, graduation, family reunions and other get together that it making it so hard to make the right decisions. I am not trying to make any excuses it is all ME...
I know once I get back into the groove for just a couple of days I can do it, I am just having a hard time doing that..
I was wondering from any of you out there that have been in my same situation what have you done to get going again...
Any help getting me going again would be appreciated!!

Yes, that is very much my problem as well. Once I get into a good pattern I do great, but if for some reason I get out of that routine, even for a short time, it is very hard to get started again. That has always been the hard part for me. I have no real tricks for ya unfortunately. For me, what usually works is once I do wind up getting back in the groove of things and FEEL how GREAT it is to be back on board, that is motivation enough. Its just that initial jumping back in that's tough!!! Hang in there, you will be back on track0

I am having a hard time this month i have my last leg of weight to loose and i really don't seem to be focused enough , lots of things going on this month we went away then we had our anniversary and now hubby is going to his new posting and i shall stay here due to teenager doing her exams ...dog was diagnosed with arthritis this month so that has really got me down all in all its been a bad month on my food side of things and its not helped at all . Feel free to add me so we can give each other a swift kick when needed ) in a nice way of course .0

Hi! When I get "off track" (usually a weekend get-away), I make myself get right back to my healthy eating, logging everything, etc. starting on Monday. I'm never gone vacationing more than 3 days at a time, so this works really well for me. The last few times I "messed up," I actually lost a few pounds within the next week of getting back on track! Hi there.....we all get into these funks every now & again
I have a busy month coming up myself w/my daughters graduation, party & vacation
I always think if you want something bad enough..you'll do whatever it takes to succeed.
My suggestion would be to find some kind of exercise that you Really like to do....for me it was Zumba
I also have made an inspiration board which I look at every now & again
Watch what you eat, log everyday, watch your sodium intake & exercise....take one day at a time.
My friends (both in real life & here on MFP) have been very encouraging & inspiring to me.
We are around the same age & I've noticed we working towards the same weight loss goal
If you need some extra support add me; I'm a good cheerleader
