Hi there,
My name is CeeCee and I had a baby 13 months ago She is perfect. I am however struggling with my weight loss still. I gave birth at 200 lbs and this morning weighted in at 151 - So, I am doing ok - but I thought after a year I would be back to my 120 lb self again. I have set a goal of 21 more lbs to lose and I am hoping to do so by the new year. My problem is mostly eating whatever is convenient...and not thinking it through.
Nice to meet you!!!

Kids are a BLESSING! Congrats on yours. Cooking your food and then freezing portions of known calorie content is a big help. snacks like 100 cal bags of Jiffy Pop are filling but low cal (and add fiber!). I suggest working with low fat foods as you can eat more food and feel fuller. A large salad with mixed baby greens, some fresh cracked pepper and Lite balsamic dressing is under 100 cals and etc. You also have to watch your calories EVERY day. When you go over, it should be by your decision to splurge for a particular reason on a particular day. Not because you lost track and mindlessly had two large scoops of ice cream. MFP has a good database. You can use your phone and get the calorie info for many restaurant items when eating out. Also, exercise really helps! Best wishes for your success.0

I find that the app helps me a lot with "convenience " eating. Kinda keeps you honest. I have plugged foods or snacks into the app just to see the effect and if i want to change my nutritional values, it can be a good way to let you know the consequences of having that DQ Blizzard or not... yeah, thats my weakness0

Thanks everyone! It is nice to have a little network to help things along. I am doing great today - it makes a difference just seeing it all laid out there with a visual of what is happening with the calories
