What is a calorie range for a "light" meal?
Having a hard time on weekends.
I eat good all week except for Friday-Sunday go on a little binge & don't log.
I don't soda, eat chips/junk food or candy.
I only drink water or coffee
I workout 3 times a week and always running around.
Can't seem to lose weight.
Just removed BC nexplanon.
Need tips/advice.
I am 5'4'' and 180 lbs... I have 2 kids... (haha if that makes a difference.)
I used to be 191 and took me over a year and half to get to 180...
More muscle then fat.
I want to get down to 155 lbs. HELLLLLP!

I keep my weekend routine fairly close to my weekdays. In the mornings for breakfast, I have a protein shake made with 1% milk and PB2 (powdered peanut butter). At lunch, I have a salad with 1 tbsp of oil and then balsamic vinegar. I also usually have 6-8 oz of chicken too. Then I have another 5-8 oz of protein at dinner along with a vegetable side.
My trainer has me on a really high protein diet along with low carbs. As of now, I pretty much do not eat bread, pasta, bagel so that my carbs are generally all vegetable carbs.
I also do a lot of planning ahead so I generally know in advance what my weekend looks like in terms of meals -- and we rarely go out to eat anymore. I also drink 72+ ounces of water per day.
The bottom line is to take in less calories than you expend.0 -
Log on the weekends. Be honest with yourself. I'm sure that will help. Even if you go over your goal for the day, that's ok. Just log it. Be consistent.0

Solution: continue your weekday logging into the weekend...
Based on your description you are at a deficit during the week and at a surplus on the weekend with the net result of eating at maintenance.
Whatever it is that helps you create a deficit during the 5 days of the week... is what you need to extend to the other two.... no other magic required or available!0 -
Pre-log the weekend food.0

So, you want to lose weight by calorie counting, but you don't always count your calories?
I bet you know the solution to this!0 -
Thanks guys... I guess I answered my own question LOL I shall log on the weekends.0
