My trouble spot is the fat on my hips and lower back. I have been loosing weight on every other part of my body but there, which is frustrating. Today I noticed that the fat on my left hip seems less then on the right side.
I have lost 35 lbs in the past and came back to MFP to take off a few lbs I put back on plus 5 more lbs. This time I am loosing in my boobs which didn't happen before. Any ideas to why I am loosing weight differently now and unevenly at that?

I've always said you loose weight from the top down and bottom up. The body seems to hold on to the belly, hips and thighs till last for some reason.

However when it comes to loosing fat, it just needs to go. Even if it's not even, it's a loss. No one will ever compliment how evenly fat someone is.

Not sure if it is true but have been told that the last fat you put on is the first to come off. That is why the tummy is so hard to get rid of because most of us that is the first place the fat goes so is always the last to leave.

Women hold weight around their tummies for good old child baring reasons. Good layer of fat to protect the potential baby.

Think of it as incentive to keep going.....it has to even up sometime!:ohwell:

im having the same problem. i lost weight evenly before and now im losing my chest first :(
  • Just looked at myself in the mirrow and having the same issue. Left side is fattier than the right. I guess I need to concentrate more on the left side and do more reps on that side when I do Ab Ripper X .
