Nice! I'm about 3lbs off and determined to push through, I've been hovering around it for flippin' weeks!

I'm really close with you - 28 pounds and I'll be at the 199 mark. 2 years ago, I got down to 193. Granted, being 44 years old is making things a bit more difficult. My body is hanging onto everything!

11 seemingly impossible pounds to go :( , , , one of these days, though...

So jealous of all of you (but happy for you too). I've just made 299 (down from 366), so happily in the 200's now, but onederland still seems like a pipe dream.

Hitting 199 was one of the best things that have ever happened to me! Don't quit! You'll get there!

LOL! That is how I feel about hitting my normal BMI. Four more pounds. It's taking forever and I've been waiting a long time. :)

It's not. If you keep going, you will get there. Are you watching the BMI goals? Those are fun to hit. I loved counting down...Obese Class II...Obese...Overweight...nobody was ever so freaking happy to be Overweight as I was!

I keep my long-term goals in mind, but there are always shorter-term goals to work on and achieve.

You will get there if you don't quit!!! Have a bad day, like all of us, but never stop!

I think I feel about Normal as @JordisTSM feels about Onederland...

Good advice about the short term goals.

    What's the significance of 199? Because it's less than 200? 90kg?

Seems like an odd numbered miles stone.

    But grats anyway.

    I'm like 16-17 pounds off 199

How are you not familiar with "onederland" yet on this site?

I think this is the first time I've see that word. Been using mfp a while now. Maybe I just didn't notice it before. Assumed a spelling mistake.

You've asked this question before and been told Yes, it's because it's under 200 pounds. That is a big deal for many of us who wanted to be there for many years, but weren't.

Purely a mental thing for me. I like the sound of being "one hundred and something" rather than "two hundred and something"

I'm so close, but I really don't want to crow about it to anyone except for people on the MFP boards. But it's so nice to know there are people out there who really understand the significance. Congrats to hitting onederland!

So what's the significance of 199 pounds? Less than 200?
