If I hit my calorie goal is is bad when my diary tells me things like your goal is to stay under this amount of sugar or my goal is to stay under a certain amount of carbohydrates

If you don't have a medical reason to watch your sugar/carb intake, no.0

It is bound to happen quite a bit. Unless you have to watch a certain thing because of medical reasons I really wouldn't worry about it. I am always over or under one of my macros by at least a little bit.0

Just a guideline..I personally keep track of the main 3- Carbs, Fats and of course, the Protein! Calories is what you should watch the most for weight loss the other stuff is if you want to feed your body properly especially after a hard workout.0

The sugar counter in your diary should be on off. It only matters for people who are diabetic or have some other diagnosed health issue.
For the rest of us, the sugar to worry about is the sweet kind. Keep it under 6 tsp a day - that's the current recommendation. Eating more than 6 tsp a day of sweet types of sugar (including honey) means you are not likely eating enough of other more nutritious foods. And for some of us, it can trigger binging.
Fruit sugar is perfectly fine. You should not be counting fruit and vegetable sugars as an issue at all. Switch of the sugar counter and turn on the fibre counter. That's much more important.0 -
How do you switch the sugar counter to fiber0
