I don't want to get in to the debate on eating back calories and stuff but I'm interested in peoples experiences.

What do you NET in a day usually, or on average?

How is your weight loss going? (and where did you start - like how much do you have to lose).

I've only really been fully back on the wagon a week but I've lost 33lbs since november last year, things have slowed down a fair bit but I eat plenty, I'm always full and not hungry, I do indulge in treats every now and again but I try not to go too crazy.

I rarely net 1200 calories a day but I really wonder how the hell I am supposed to when I'm already full ! Short of introducing junk which really I don't want to do. I have over 100lbs to lose so I doubt very much that I'm starving lol. I've averaged a net of 952 cals a day at the moment.

I eat on average anywhere between 1400/1500 a day but those days can also include 600+ calories of walking, exercise biking and work outs on the Wii so I guess it depends on your exercise really, if you're working yourself hard you're bound to want to eat more. I have seen quite a few people on here saying that they can't eat all their calories and I think you're all mad! Hehe :)

hmmmm i have my caloric limit to 2500... 2 days in a row, i usually eat about 1700, maybe 2000. On my restore day, I eat anywhere from 3000 - 4000 calories.

I am going to tell you this. that starvation mode thing is dead wrong. Would a 110lbs women be in starvation mode if she ate 1200 calories? no. Don't go by that, just listen to your body. If you don't want to eat don't. remebering everything you do can turn in to a habit, eating when you're not hungry is over eating. Isn't that why most people are over weight? As you get older, your caloric expenditure level will go down, do you want to take that habit with you, as your caloric expenditure goes down? If you do, you'd gain weight very quickly.

I usually do my best to net 1200 calories, it's harder on days I excercise alot though. If I think i'm going to be too far under I usually just add a glass of milk to a meal or something else to drink to bump up my calories if I'm not very hungry

It depends on the day for me! Sometimes I net negative calories in a day, which I kinda found shocking when I looked at my net calories report. Does anyone know if that's really bad? Most other days I net somewhere between 600-1500. Lately it's been more because I've had to eat out at restaurants.

See on biggest loser they eat 1200 cals and exercise 6000 so they must net negative cals yet they lose consistently.
