I used to play a lot of WOW but I can't afford it anymore. :(
Moderation I think would be safe though! I'd be all about it if I could though

I'm a gamer as well - primarily PC games. I own an xbox 360, but I've struggled to really get into it.

I'm also huge on RPGs - I was MAD into Neverwinter Nights when it and the expansion packs came out and played the heck out of it. I was also huge on WoW and Diablo III for a while. For me tho, I enjoy the community aspect as much as the game itself. I got out of WoW because the guild I was in kind of imploded and suddenly the people I enjoyed playing with were no longer around.

I have Skyrim and keep telling myself I want to try it. I have Witcher - same thing. I've heard fantastic things about the Fallout series, but haven't tried them.

LOVE the idea of getting together a group of MFPers that play the same game(s) and then try to set up an ingame meet and play session. IE we all find a day and time to meet on something like Skyrim or another multi player game and then all of us group up and explore and have fun and chat while we hunt and kill and quest and game. Especially since we all have the same difficulties - balancing fitness and our love of gaming.

Both actually. I played Horde for a long time, then when the teenager wanted to play together and requested that we play on Alliance side, I made alliance characters so that she and I could play together.

I've played Resto Shammy, Elemental Shammy, Kitty Drood, Fury Warrior, Prot Warrior, Prot Pally, Fire Mage, and Marksman Hunter. Pretty much had a different main every expansion just to change things up. :)

I was really into StarCraft and wanted Blizzard to make SC2 so when they released WoW, all of my friends signed up but I kept playing SC. When Burning Crusade came out in '07 I gave up and tried it out and am still playing. At one point I was the GM of a progression guild with 70+ players and two raid groups but it became way too time consuming. These days, I am just a casual player. I have an Ally guild on Laughing Skull and Horde guild on Garithos that consists of my two daughters and myself. All we do is level toons and run an occasional battleground but it's still a blast.

I love me games, will play most things tbh but I like a good RPG. Massive Bioshock fan to to the point that I have an almost finished sleeve dedicated to the games. Also can't wait for Fallout 4, Have a pipboy edition pre-ordred.

I used to play a lot of WOW but I can't afford it anymore. :(
Moderation I think would be safe though! I'd be all about it if I could though

I just wanted to step in and let you guys know that you can now pay your monthly subscription to WoW with in-game gold! I think it was like 24,000, but it beats paying with real money :) I stopped playing for about 9 months because I didn't have the time to play and couldn't justify paying for it every month, but recently got the itch to do some low level bgs and found out about that. I think it's a great solution to all of their free competitors out there.

I used to be into FFXI I'd even wager to say almost to the point of addiction. From 2002 when it first was released in the USA on the PC platform up to Winter of 2009 it's all I did in my spare time when I wasn't at work or going to hang out with friends, the movies, that sorta thing. It wasn't good for my health being so sedentary. I stopped cold turkey when I discovered I had type II diabetes.

I still play games but I've cut down on my playing time. From playing 6 to 8 hrs a day, everyday to now 4 to 5 hrs a week. RPGs are still one of my favorite genre of games to play but I don't play MMORPGs anymore. It's too much of time sink to accomplish things and I am more of a social player. One of the things I enjoyed about FFXI is it forced you to team up and play with others to get anywhere. I found it fun playing with friends and I get bored quickly playing solo.

Here's a couple of MFP groups people maybe interested in joining. Anyone is welcomed to join.
