My scales have broken and I need a new one. There are many different types out there so I was wondering if anyone could give me their experience. I suppose I have 3 basic options.
1) A cheap digital one from Asda (Walmart)
2) A more expensive one that syncs with MFP directly
3) A more expensive one that measures body fat (tanita claim +/- 5% accurate around a DEXA measurement apparently !!!
)
Any ideas ?

Sort of related to scales - I had a digital scale for a while now and I got frustrated that it would show a different number a few times in a row before "settling down". Sometimes I just don't have the time to spend waiting for that.. so I got a cheap analog scale and I just use both haha..0

Weight watchers digital with glass platform to stand on should be on flat surface when mine go bit out on reading the battery needs changing then accurate0

I just bought that WW scale. $20 at Costco. I like it so far.0

I had the tanita and it's not accurate. Check out the reviews of digital scales on Amazon and buy the one that has the best reviews. Done.0

I had a digital scale but found it was not accurate. Sometimes it would never settle on a weight. Other times the weight was clearly inaccurate like showing a 20 pound weight loss in a week. I finally purchased an old style analog scale from Walmart that I'm happy with.0

#3 I don't believe them and think they're lying their butts off. I'd even bet that somewhere in the small print, it will say it's not really accurate. Since I think they're trying to be deceitful, I wouldn't buy anything they were selling.
#2 If it appeals to you,get it. I kind of like entering my weight myself. I get all proud of me as I enter lower ones. I can't wait to enter the one that puts me in a Normal BMI.
That's my $.020 -
