My trainer suggested something similar to this to do on my weight training days. I do 4 sets of 30 for the first 3 exercises plus the seated ab machine 4 sets of 30 with 30kg weight and I have definitely noticed my abs are stronger since I started doing them.
If I could just be a bit stricter with my food you could probably even see them better0 -
I need abs... NOW! My weight and inches/tone are just not correlating right now!
Also massive props to you if you can do 60 russian twists like that - I could barely manage 5!0 -
Seems like a waste of time to me.0

WOW! I was always told....if you don't have anything nice to say then don't say anything at all.
Thanks for the pics, I do just about all of these every night and it is making a big difference since I have had 3 c sections in the last 4 yrs ALL in different places meaning my muscles are pretty tore up.0 -
Just think you could use all the time you spent doing this on exercises that work out more muscle groups and burn more calories. Seeing abs is about body fat, not about core strength. Actually, a lot of traditional exercises work out your core even though the core is not the prime reason for doing them -- like dead lifts and squats. I've had a six-pack several times in my life and I've never done more than just regular crunches to keep my core strength up.0
