Porridge

so this morning I had porridge (oats) instead of my usual smoothie and after half an hour I'm starving!
Why?
I'm sticking below my calories with relatively healthy food (the occasional biscuit, cake etc) and exercising but this weight just doesn't want to move

Pump up that porridge with some fat and protein to stay fuller longer.0

Yeah the oats is fine- but you can add some fruit to it also maybe cook up some egg whites or an egg to have on the side. I tell you that protein is the thing which helps keep me full longer-0

I eat oatmeal with fruit and nuts most days. Keeps me full until lunch.0

Add sliced almonds and some chia, flax, or sunflower seeds.0

Oats by themselves will have me hungry 20 mins later, but when I add a scoop of protein, and a tablespoon of nut butter. I'm full for hours.0

I like putting a runny egg and bacon bits on top of mine. Another go to is peanut butter and brown sugar.0

Add some chia seeds and a banana, you would be full after this0

I had chia seeds and raisins on top.
Will try add some fat/protein tomorrow

I have a bowl of porridge for a snack, not as a meal.0

Add a scoop of protein powder in the oats?0

I'd eat eggs instead or throw them in the oats. Maybe add bacon?0

Oats usually make me feel full for hours, dunno what to tell ya0

I mix cottage cheese in with my porridge; holds me for a few hours!0

I have the same problem if it's just plain oatmeal. I make mine with whole milk and top it with roasted nuts/nut butters, dried fruits, etc0
