Tips on cutting back calories after injury

I've had a recent injury which means I'm not going to me burning any significant calories like I have been. I have been in such a good plus calorie wise but I've gotten use to having days where I "earned" more. It's only a few hundred calories but knowing that I don't have any wiggle room or calories to save up is definitely going to be a mental struggle. Any tips/ideas on how to deal with this? I'm going to be out actively for at least a couple months but I don't want to lose my momentum.

I would try to focus on low calorie filling foods. Bulk your meals up with heaps of veg so you still get to eat a decent volume of food.
Hope your recovery goes well. I imagine this would be a very frustrating situation. Good luck.0 -
There seems to be plenty of exercises for people with limited mobility.
Depending on your injury you might want to have a look into them. I think you can google chair exercises.0 -
I'm in a similar situation. I've reduced my overall calorie target, and I have been aiming at reducing carbs (not by a lot, but some), while increasing fiber, and increasing protein and fat to maximize satiety. Hitting my target is much easier when I do that.0
