HI all,

I'm currently using MFP to enable me to keep to just over 1500 calories a day, my question is,

Is it ok if you make up those calories with food that isnt necessarily healthy, such as an indian takeaway? (assuming that you wont go over you calorie limit).

I would only plan to have one every couple of weeks, but it is a favourite of mine.

if you eat anything other than chicken breast, brown rice and brocolli you will gain 5 pounds every week.

eat it 12 times a day

    Yeah, you're fine OP.

I sometimes have a takeaway, whether I go over my calorie limit... that's another story ;)

Eat whatever food you like and work it into your calorie goals.

If you follow CICO and eat less calories than you burn, it doesn't matter what you eat for losing weight. No need to give up the foods you love.

This is fine from a weight loss perspective. Need to be aware of marco and micro requirement for good health though.

For the OP, the take-out occasionally won't hurt, make sure you get your macro/micros on a regular basis.
