Hi Everyone ; My name is Lori - I'm 52 yrs old and am on a journey to appreciate life; get fit and healthy. I am a 2x breast cancer survivor and want to be around to share in my children's life adventures and someday enjoy retirement with my husband. I am currently doing weight watchers, but was stuck in a rut and as I know several who are doing the myfitnesspal plan decided to give it a go. I hate counting calories, by this program makes it sooo easy; I'm on day 5 and lovin it so far. My goal is to drop 40-45 more pounds (lost 20 on ww) and be able to run (or at least jog) a 5k by next spring for no other reason than God has blessed me with the gift of life, so I Can!

Welcome! You've got a great attitude, good luck on reaching your goals. I'm a refugee from WW, too, and never thought I'd count calories, but I'm loving MFP so far and it's working for me. Enjoy yourself here!
