quick question why would my calories burned be different from a friends calories burned when logging the same exercise and same amount of time?

Calorie burns depend upon height, weight, age, gender, exertion level, hormones....and more
MFP (and machines) are using estimates based upon (some) factors above. Getting an "accurate" number is difficult at best.0 -
Because your friend is a different height/weight/sex/age than you.0
