I just tried heart of palm and it was good.

What have you tried recently that you liked (or didn't like)?

I also just tried flax milk from Good Karma - also really yummy. I have oat and hemp milk on the list as well!

Tried avocado when I saw such great things being said about it on MFP, after years of hating it, and actually love it now. I want it on all of my salads. It's weird how taste buds will change over time.

    Heck yea, avocado is amazing.

I finally tried cooking with coconut oil. Couldn't tell a huge difference between it and olive oil taste-wise, but I heard it's better to cook with.

I bought yellow wax peas today, not tried them yet but I'll up date tomorrow. I'd never even heard of them before.

I'm ashamed to say that I went 23 years without ever trying cauliflower. It's one of my favorites now. Same with apricots.

My WW leader hands out a list of fruits and veggies every year and does a challenge where you have to eat as many things on the list as possible or you can add things to the list that aren't on there. I am buying all kinds of new fruits and veggies to try! I've had mango nectarines and cherry plums so far. I have some kale Brussels sprout hybrid thing to try next.

The mango nectarines are pretty good - like a cross between a mango and an apricot actually.
The cherry plums don't really taste like cherry but they are quite good.

I've actually tried quite a few new things recently.

I think I tried sauteing zucchini in a pan once years ago and wasn't a fan, but I recently tried it mixed with pasta (for volume) and in scrambled eggs. Both were pretty great, so I plan to try zoats (zucchini added to oatmeal) next.

I also tried brussel sprouts and asparagus for the first time this week. Brussel sprouts were surprisingly good; asparagus was alright but I probably won't buy it again.

Today I tried Alexia frozen Parmesan Peas. Sooooo good!

I really like Jif Whips whipped peanut butter and recently bought the one with salty caramel. Also delicious.

I've liked the Laughing Cow light swiss cheese for a long time but just tried the white cheddar and absolutely loved it.

Gold Peak Diet Tea is becoming a bit of an obsession since I tried it for the first time a few weeks ago.

I was really excited to try the Pepperidge Farm Blueberry Swirl bread because I really liked the pumpkin spice flavor in the fall and the blueberry is thick slices. It's definitely not bad - I mean, it's bread, and bread is good - but I was disappointed in how little blueberry flavor really comes through. I still ate it as part of my breakfast every day this week as planned, though.

I've got a few others, but I'll stop there.

Baked sweet potatoes stuffed with southwest black beans. I was going to make 4 for the week but I didn't think I'd like them so I only made 2. SO GOOD!
