    It just means that you are interested in the topic and want to follow the conversation but not add any new information or thoughts.

    It allows that topic to go back to the top of the list. That way you get more people to see it and talk about it. :-)

    Haha, I was wondering the same thing. I think people are just trying to be really annoying. Like on facebook... when people feel the need to be the first person to comment on something, then just post "#1 or first". So annoying! I could be wrong though...
