Am I doing it right? Any advice?

I am 5'7, 228 lbs. UGW is 150. I just started (again) Monday and I have been consuming 1600 cals and walking 2 miles a day. I have a desk job so should I be eating less than 1600? I really would like to weigh 210 by Labor Day... do you think that would be feasible?
