Can anyone tell me what the malt vinegar is used for at Five Guys?
They have bottles of it and, it's obviously used by the customers, but for what?

Yum, haven't had hot chips with salt and vinegar for years. :yum:

Is malt vinegar better on them than white vinegar?

Why is that even a question?

hahaha I've only ever bought them when drunk from deliciously greasy takeaway joints, and never noticed the type of vinegar.

I'm preemptively shunning anyone who subsequently posts that we should use apple cider vinegar. ;)
