Searching Daily Notes or Blog Entries

Is it possible to search on either the daily notes field or your blog entries to search for a specific word or phrase over your whole history? I am interested in using it as journal but need to be able to search all my entries for specific word or phrase and find the date I wrote or blogged about it.

    So doing some testing of the blog I do not see how you can enter a blog entry for a previous date nor is there any search functionality so I'm thinking the answer is no. Unless the daily food or exercise notes field can be used as a journal but even then I'm not seeing any search capability. If someone disagrees or knows how to do this please let me know. Thanks.

    I'd be interested to know the same thing. I'm looking to make notes on how I react to certain foods but this seems impossible without a searching facility.

    +1 here for a search function on the notes. This would make an enourmous powerful daily journal for my exercise, my tastings and other nice things
