Interval Set While My Knee Recovers

Recently, I inflammed a bursa in my left knee. So, my normal workouts of running 2 miles a day and doing high impact aerobics is out for a bit. I am trying to invent myself a nice set of mostly upper body, low impact, cardio exercises mixed with strength training moves. I was thinking 2 minutes of cardio then 1 minute of strength and repeat.
Any suggestions for different moves? Right now I know punches will work some for cardio but I really could use suggestions. Nothing super difficult as I am still a beginner in general.

Try practicing yoga to strengthen your knee. I have a reoccurring knee injury from many years ago that started bothering me right before a marathon. Too much extensive use on the treadmill & elliptical really irritated it. So I was only hiking and taking long walks outside + yoga for 6 weeks and I was able to run a 1/2 marathon. But of course check w/your doctor first.0

Yoga right now puts too much pressure on the knee at the moment.0
