Me and my daughters weight loss journey

Hi,need advice for me and my 9 year old daughter. We both are over weight and need encouragement and tips. Thank you for any help that yoy can share.

    Cannot really give advice about your daughter, we are not really supposed to do that on this site.
    For you I would say start with your calories. Start at a slow loss, that way it is easier to hit your goals at first. Then if you want to lose more weight up your pounds per week goal. As time goes on start adding in the nutrient goals one at a time. Whichever ones you find important or most important. If you know you want to eat something everyday then plan ahead for that. Put it in your food diary at the beginning of the day that way you wont feel like you can't have it or feel bad about going over calories before it. Some people have success when they plan their meals ahead of time and with weighing their food instead of using measuring cups. Also, making friends on here for support would be good.
